Risk & Compliance Analyst Job Description

As a Risk & Compliance Analyst, you will report directly to the Director of Group Risk and be responsible for implementing compliance strategies, conducting regular assessments, and participating in projects aimed at enhancing systems and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support risk control and assessment processes, performing risk assessments, root cause analysis, and identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities
  • Develop strategies and tactics to mitigate identified risks and enhance the overall risk management framework
  • Prepare, review, and maintain company policies, documentation, and reports ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Oversee the implementation and development of compliance and risk training programs for employees
  • Manage and maintain information and data related to risk, governance, and compliance, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in risk and compliance in a regulated environment, preferably in the financial services sector or familiar with GDPR, AML, FCS, CIOT, and HMRC regulations
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and analytical approach to seek performance gains
  • Able to convey complex information to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge relating to legislation and practices
