Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Physiotherapy Specialists to join our vibrant and supportive team within a leading Hospital Foundation Trust. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain diverse experience across various healthcare environments.
Our program includes 6-month rotations through multiple settings, such as:
- Orthopaedics
- Respiratory / Intensive Care
- Musculoskeletal Outpatients and Gym (including Community settings)
- Elderly / Medicine (in both Acute and Community settings)
- Neuro-rehabilitation (in both Acute and Community settings)
- Vascular
- Rheumatology
Each team member will be assigned a dedicated clinical supervisor and will benefit from a tailored in-service training program specific to their rotation, along with weekly clinical reasoning sessions. Support is also provided by a collaborative clinical team, including both static and rotational Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, and administrative personnel. Advanced Practice Physiotherapists are also available for guidance.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary responsibility will be to contribute to the physiotherapy service by managing and prioritizing your patient caseload under the supervision of a senior practitioner.
Newly qualified professionals will receive support through our Preceptorship program, designed to facilitate the transition from student to independent practitioner.
Opportunities for involvement in service enhancement, audits, and clinical governance are available, and all staff participate in the Trust's appraisal system.
Our services operate 7 days a week in certain areas, and candidates must be willing to work weekends and extended hours, including participation in the On Call rota.

Essential Qualifications and Skills
- A degree in Physiotherapy (or nearing completion)
- HCPC registration (or in the process of obtaining it)
- A valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle (reasonable adjustments will be considered)
