Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Anaesthetic Practitioner to join our team at Stonor Medical. As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in supporting our theatre team and ensuring the smooth operation of our operating department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the planning and organisation of the theatres: You will work closely with our theatre team to ensure that all procedures run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide individualised care: You will maintain high standards of care for our patients, working closely with our senior nursing staff and management team.
  • Ensure equipment is available and in good working order: You will be responsible for checking and maintaining all anaesthetic equipment to ensure it is safe and effective.
  • Administer controlled drugs: You will be responsible for the administration of controlled drugs in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments: You will work closely with our ward staff and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: You must be a qualified nurse or ODP with a current PIN number and no restrictions.
  • Experience: You must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role within the NHS or private sector.
  • Skills: You must have excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
