Morgan Hunt Group Limited is seeking a skilled Mechanical Building Services Design Engineer to join their Glasgow office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and specifying mechanical building services systems, ensuring project briefs are understood, and preparing and reviewing documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and specification of mechanical building services systems
  • Preparation and review of documentation, including designs, specifications, and assessment reports
  • Carry out site surveys, inspections, and monitoring of site works
  • Implementation of detailed surveys of mechanical services and equipment
  • Report and technical note writing
Requirements
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience working in a design consultancy or similar environment
  • Knowledge of mechanical design within the built environment
  • Good report writing skills and experience of making presentations to clients
  • Detailed knowledge of technical standards and ability to take charge of project deliverables
  • Good level of computer literacy in digital tools such as IES thermal modelling package and CAD
