Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Building Services

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Building Services to join our team at Morgan Hunt Group Limited. As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer Building Services, you will be responsible for ensuring an understanding of project briefs, designing and specifying all Mechanical Building Services systems, and preparing and reviewing documentation such as designs, specifications, assessment reports, and survey reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and specification of all Mechanical Building Services systems
- Preparation and review of documentation
- Carry out detailed calculations using industry standard software tools
- Site surveys, inspections, and monitoring of site works
- Implementation of detailed surveys of mechanical services and equipment
- Assisting with the development of junior engineers
- Report and technical note writing
- Degree qualified or equivalent qualification in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Ideally chartered or working towards this with CIBSE or IET
- 5-10 years experience working in a design consultancy or a similar environment
- Knowledge of mechanical design within the built environment
- Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients
- Detailed knowledge of appropriate technical standards
- Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools
