Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Engineering Scheduler. As a key member of our Field Operations team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating Field Engineering activities to ensure seamless execution and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with resource planning for field communications engineers to ensure optimal resource allocation and minimize downtime.
  • Cover scheduling leave and ensure continuity of operations.
  • Monitor and update subcontractor clear information to maintain accurate records and facilitate efficient communication.
  • Assist team members with their clears and queues during periods of high demand to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Monitor the resourcing inbox and action any queries to provide prompt support and resolution.
  • Project work – plan multi-site/multi-region projects and book appropriate installs to meet customer needs.
  • Commit to continuous professional development and undertake additional training to meet individual and organizational needs.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Exhibit good analytical and negotiating skills to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team with minimal guidance to achieve goals and objectives.
  • Be computer literate, particularly in Excel, Word, and data entry into databases, with basic internet and email skills.
  • Awareness of telecommunications is a desirable skill, but full training will be provided.
  • Previous experience in engineering scheduling is desirable.
