Roofers Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Roofers Labourer to join our team at Liberty Group. As a Roofers Labourer, you will play a crucial role in supporting our roofing team with various tasks, including labouring duties, material collection, and waste disposal.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist roofers with labouring duties, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Collect and deliver materials from builders' merchants to site or stores.
  • Collect and dispose of trade debris from properties and gardens.
  • Undertake minor garden maintenance duties, including grass cutbacks and foliage removal.
  • Assist in the stores department with unloading and loading of materials and goods.
Requirements:
  • Some roofing experience is essential, with a background in maintenance work on domestic properties, preferably in social housing and high-rise blocks.
  • Competent in all aspects of labouring, with experience of working in confined spaces.
  • A current driving licence is required.
  • Skilled workers may hold a CSCS card, have asbestos awareness, and their own tools.
