Roofers Labourer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Roofers Labourer to join our team at Liberty Gas Group. As a Roofers Labourer, you will be responsible for assisting our roofers with labouring duties, collecting and delivering materials, and undertaking garden maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and deliver materials from builders' merchants and deliver to site or stores
  • Assist roofers with labouring duties, including collecting and picking up trade debris
  • Undertake garden cutbacks of grass, shrubbery, and foliage
  • Carry out minor garden maintenance duties, including removing debris from site to a nominated waste disposal depot
  • Fly tippings and collect and submit all documentation relating to the collection and disposal of waste
  • Assistance in the stores department, including unloading and loading of materials and goods
Requirements:
  • Must have some roofing experience and be competent in all aspects of labouring
  • Experience of maintenance work on domestic properties, preferably within social housing and including high-rise blocks for general repairs and refurbishments
  • Background of general driving/labouring work and ability to work in confined spaces
  • Current driving licence is essential
  • Skilled workers will preferably hold a CSCS card (desirable), have asbestos awareness, and their own tools
