Job Summary:
Zoetis, the world's largest manufacturer and supplier of animal pharmaceuticals, is seeking a skilled Packaging Specialist to join our team in Lincoln, NE. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating biological packaging lines, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.
Responsibilities:
- Operate packaging equipment and other related tasks to ensure efficient production processes.
- Maintain accurate and concurrent documentation of all tasks completed, including timecards, batch records, and logbooks.
- Work collaboratively with peers and supervisors to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Practice good safety techniques, including lock-out/tag-out procedures, and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to ensure seamless production processes.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret procedures, apply general math skills, and understand mechanical skills.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a biological or pharmaceutical setting, is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and holidays, and move up and down stairs/ladders.
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, product dust/particulate, loud noise, and temperature variations is expected.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical school certificate or 1-2 years of college.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with vision systems and robotic fillers is preferred.
- Knowledge of PC using Windows-based applications is preferred.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to cleaning chemicals, product dust/particulate, loud noise, and temperature variations is expected.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with attention to detail and quality.
