Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our team at the National Autistic Society. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to autistic individuals and their families.

About the Role:
  • Provide oversight of support packages, including reviewing care plans and outcomes for the people we support.
  • Support the development of the staff team, including conducting supervisions and appraisals, ensuring staff have access to suitable learning and development opportunities, and presenting yourself as a role model/mentor.
  • Assist with the smooth running and day-to-day operations of the service.
Requirements:
  • Resilient, supportive, and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people.
  • Experience of management and/or shift leading within a social care setting.
  • Leadership skills, patience, and commitment.
