Job Title: Caretaker Burnley

Aspire People Limited is seeking an experienced Caretaker to join our team at a Secondary school in Burnley. The ideal candidate will have a background in maintenance and security, with a strong focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out security procedures for school buildings and grounds
  • Opening and closing of school premises, including gates, doors, windows, and fire exits
  • Regularly checking the proper operation and function of alarms and fire equipment
  • Liaising with emergency services as required
  • Reporting acts of theft or vandalism
  • General maintenance duties around the school, including litter picking and cleaning

The successful candidate will be comfortable working a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. They will also be required to have an Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to purchase a new DBS.
