Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team at WendyB Ltd. As a key member of our accounts team, you will be responsible for managing the collection and allocation of Property Service charges for block estates and managed residential apartments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the collection and allocation of Property Service charges for block estates and managed residential apartments
  • Send out statements and payment schedules to property owners and landlords
  • Send three-stage reminders via post and email
  • Make outbound calls to customers with complex queries and arrange repayment schedules
  • Allocate payments received
  • Initiate legal proceedings through the small claims court in cases of non-payment and pursue through to settlement or judgment
  • Update Excel spreadsheets and databases to monitor and track all activity, progress status reporting
  • Assist the wider accounts team during quieter periods, utilizing sales or purchase ledger knowledge and reconciliations
  • Communicate effectively with customers, property managers, and other business stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Experience in debt collection or credit control
  • Confidence, organization, resilience, and good listening skills
  • Competency in Word, Excel, and Outlook
