Role Overview
As a pivotal member of our Warehouse team at Smiths News, the Operations Supervisor is essential in maintaining the seamless operation of our warehouse departments. This role focuses on ensuring precision, efficiency, and productivity throughout our facilities.
In your capacity as the Warehouse Operations Supervisor, you will oversee the planning and resource allocation for warehouse activities, guaranteeing the accuracy of product packing and effective management of goods within the department. You will lead a team of Warehouse Operatives, providing necessary training and coaching while collaborating with management to identify training requirements and potential operational risks. Additionally, you will uphold high standards of health and safety, ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations at all times.

- Experience in a dynamic environment, preferably within a 24/7 logistics, warehouse, FMCG, or related industry
- Proven ability to manage large-scale operations and communicate effectively at all levels
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with team members and management
- Experience in planning and executing warehouse operations, adept at addressing challenges as they arise
