About the Role

As a Core Network NEMS Engineer, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the seamless delivery and operation of our critical OSS/NEMS systems. You'll be responsible for the technical design, implementation, and ongoing management of these systems, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical delivery of OSS/NEMS solutions, ensuring they meet our operational requirements and performance standards.
  • Collaborate with network engineers (RAN, Transmission, IP, Service Layer, and Core) to integrate OSS/NEMS systems into the broader network architecture.
  • Oversee capacity planning and management for your assigned systems, proactively identifying and addressing potential bottlenecks to ensure optimal customer experience.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation for all solutions under your responsibility, ensuring clarity and consistency across the team.
  • Implement and manage a robust configuration management system to guarantee alignment between design specifications and operational configurations.
  • Support project managers in developing and executing delivery plans, ensuring timely and cost-effective implementation of new capabilities.
  • Act as a key escalation point for operational and validation issues, coordinating with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical challenges effectively.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization, fostering effective communication and collaboration.

Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in designing and implementing OSS/NEMS architectures and systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex end-to-end design challenges involving multiple systems and domains.
  • Expert knowledge of two or more of the following areas:
    • OSS and NEMS architecture
    • 3G/4G/5G Mobile Packet Core architecture
    • 3G Circuit Switched Core architecture
    • 4G Voice Architecture (IMS)
    • MVNO/MVNE architecture and solutions
    • CS Voice, messaging or popular internet communication service architectures
    • Service Management Systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
