Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Development Chemist to join our team at Delve Search - Global Search Consultants. As a Product Development Chemist, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and improving the process parameters for our electro-chemical reactor.

About the Role

This is a brand new role within our company, created due to our expansion and growth in the industrial wastewater sector. You will be working closely with our R&D team, Process Engineers, Senior Chemists, and Material Scientists to develop innovative solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop chemical reactors and similar systems, such as distillation and filtration
  • Conduct experiments at R&D/pilot stage and collaborate with the R&D team
  • Work closely with Process Engineers and Senior Chemists to improve process parameters
  • Develop and implement Six Sigma/CI knowledge to improve efficiency and quality
  • Collaborate with the Material Scientist to develop new materials and technologies
  • Communicate effectively with the team and wider company to ensure seamless project execution

Requirements

  • Chemistry degree required, with specialism in Materials Science or Organic Chemistry preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in project-based NPI product development work
  • Experience with electro-chemical reactors and Six Sigma/CI knowledge is a bonus
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to work independently and within teams, and passion for the science/engineering sector
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with a variety of stakeholders
