Megger, a leading innovator in electronic and electrical test equipment, is seeking a seasoned professional to drive our Mechanical Engineering Team to new heights. As the Head of Mechanical Engineering, you will be responsible for leading and developing a skilled team of engineers, overseeing mechanical design, product updates, and development activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Team Leadership: Lead and supervise the Mechanical Engineering and Product Change Control teams, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery of designs and products.
  2. Engineering Process Management: Oversee the implementation and management of engineering drawings, CAD models, Product Data Management (PDM), and change control systems.
  3. Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance mechanical design, performance, and system reliability.
  4. Product Development: Manage the design and development of products, encompassing mechanical, thermal, environmental, and manufacturing aspects.
  5. PLM Implementation: Lead the implementation of the new 3DX/PLM system, ensuring alignment with global teams and processes.
Requirements:
  1. Education: Degree or Higher National Diploma/HNC in Mechanical and/or Production Engineering.
  2. Experience: At least 10 years of experience in product design and development, with expertise in mechanical engineering.
  3. Leadership Experience: Previous experience in a leadership role within an engineering team.
  4. Team Development: Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing engineering team.
  5. Organizational Skills: Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.
