Job Title: Financial Resilience Project Coordinator

Future Projects is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Resilience Project Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing financial resilience among disadvantaged communities in Norwich.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day operations of the "Money Matters: Future Resilience" project, ensuring all activities align with the project's objectives and timelines. This includes overseeing the implementation of the match-funding programme, managing project budgets, resources, and schedules, and administering the match-funding programme.

You will work closely with the Money Matters Support Worker and other team members to ensure a coordinated approach to client support and project delivery. Your excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners, while your proactive problem-solving skills will help you support vulnerable individuals in achieving financial stability.

We are committed to providing the best working environment for our staff, and as such, we are trialing the 100:80:100 model of the 4-day working week. Should the trial be made permanent, the role holder will qualify to opt-in to the Four Day Week, following successful completion of their 6-month probation period.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the "Money Matters: Future Resilience" project.
  • Coordinate the implementation of the match-funding programme.
  • Manage project budgets, resources, and schedules.
  • Administer the match-funding programme.
  • Monitor client participation in the programme.
  • Collaborate with external evaluators to assess the effectiveness of the match-funding model.
  • Manage a small caseload of clients.
  • Conduct assessments of clients' financial situations.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project activities.
Person Specification:
  • Significant experience coordinating projects in the charity or public sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial management, project coordination, and evaluation methods.
  • Ability to manage both strategic oversight and direct client support.
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented.
  • Experience in administering match-funding programmes.
  • Proven ability to oversee project plans and ensure deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
