Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Deputy Home Manager to join our team at our care home in Stalybridge. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support to our residents, working closely with the Home Manager to achieve this goal.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring that all aspects of care and support are delivered to the highest standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure that all aspects of care are coordinated.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care and support provided, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Ensure that all aspects of care and support are delivered in accordance with HC-One's policies and procedures, as well as relevant legislation and regulations.
Requirements
  • Valid NMC Pin and knowledge of National Standards and NMC code of practice.
  • Background in person-centred care planning within a care home.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure that they are equipped to deliver exceptional care.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
