Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver custom development projects on time, on budget, and to specification.
  • Assist with proposals and project justification by gathering and reviewing preliminary information.
  • Create and implement a project management plan, identifying project scope, tasks, milestones, deliverables, budget, stakeholders, risks, and key information.
  • Construct and maintain a project schedule using an appropriate WBS, with milestones and review points clearly identified.
  • Monitor costs against the agreed budget and regularly report spend and other KPIs.
  • Ensure comprehensive project requirements are produced, reviewed, and confirmed by stakeholders.

Requirements
  • Proven project management expertise within an engineering environment.
  • Proven ability to deliver results through others within a matrix organisation.
  • Proven experience of liaising directly with customers and delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills, including work scheduling, prioritising, and multi-tasking.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Adaptable and flexible approach to work.
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
  • Education to degree level BSc/BEng or equivalent in Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • APM PMQ, PRINCE 2, or similar project management certification.
