Maintenance Engineer

Gap Technical Ltd is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias to join their team at their facility near Warrington. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the production hall, process plant, and services, working closely with the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders, and the Engineering Team.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to breakdown situations, perform planned preventative maintenance, and participate in planned shutdowns.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, working collaboratively with the team to enhance performance.
- Develop key relationships with the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders, and the Engineering Team.
- Work as part of a three-man team, covering the production hall, process plant, and services.
- Hold an HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a packaging environment is preferred but not essential.
- Demonstrate extensive knowledge of electrical, automation, and PLC software, ideally Siemens S7.
- Proven experience in high-pressure situations requiring decision-making with minimal supervision.
- HNC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
