About the Role

We're seeking a talented junior designer to join our award-winning publishing team in Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for creating engaging print layouts and supporting our senior designers on various design tasks.

This role offers excellent opportunities for skills development, professional growth, and creative expression in a fast-paced production environment. You'll work closely with our editorial team to deliver high-quality designs that meet our brand's standards.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Graduate degree or equivalent in design or a related field
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
  • Working knowledge of print design principles and technical aspects
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

Desirable Skills and Experience

  • Professional experience in a print design environment
  • Experience working with freelance illustrators and contractors
  • Understanding and passion for food and drink
  • Interest in illustration or photography
