About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our team as a Strategic Planning Director, responsible for overseeing Portfolio and Reporting Analysts, managing capital expenditure and resource planning within the Product & Technology function, and driving a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transparency: Collaborate with operations to ensure accurate financial reporting, analyzing costs and revenues to inform business decisions.
  • Capex Governance: Govern and maintain the capital expenditure planning process, ensuring quarterly and annual checks and balances.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Conduct quarterly Jira reporting for Finance, ensuring capitalization evidence for audit purposes across all brands.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and streamline Capex processes across brands, collaborating with the Vendor Manager on ad hoc contracts, purchase orders, and invoicing.
  • Resource Planning: Govern and maintain the Technology Headcount Plan, model future state organizations, and assess location strategy impacts.
  • Staff Utilization: Drive initiatives to improve staff utilization and enhance resource data quality with stakeholders.
  • Jira Governance: Oversee Jira function governance post-migration and lead the Planview rollout and migration, including user training.
  • Risk Management: Own Key Risk Indicator creation and reporting, leading the rollout and improvement of the risk framework for Product & Technology.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in Capex planning and governance, with a strong understanding of financial controls and transparency.
  • Analytical Skills: Advanced analytical skills with experience in creating and maintaining risk registers.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communicator with the ability to provide clear training and guidance.
