Job Title: Front of House Supervisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join our team at an 18th Century Gastro pub in Newbury. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of part-time employees, and contributing to the overall success of our pub.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of part-time employees, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Upsell products to clients and train the team to do the same, increasing revenue and enhancing the customer experience.
  • Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests, upholding the pub's reputation for excellent service.
  • Develop and implement ideas to improve guest experience, working closely with the management team to drive business growth.
  • Adapt to a wide range of situations, demonstrating flexibility and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Provide excellent customer service, handling complaints and questions in a professional manner.
