Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and adaptable Care Assistant to join our team in providing high-quality care and companionship to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities that promote their physical and mental well-being.
  • Assist with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming, as needed.
  • Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring clients' safety and independence.
  • Oversee medication administration and provide medical support, as required.
  • Assist with light housekeeping, including cleaning and laundry, to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Prepare and cook meals, taking into account clients' dietary needs and preferences.
  • Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions, to support clients' daily needs.

Requirements

  • Compassionate and empathetic nature, with a strong desire to support others.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of personal care and medication administration, with a willingness to learn and develop skills.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license, with a clean driving record.
