We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at London Chigwell Prince Regent Hotel, Signature Collection By Best Western. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our hotel rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and inviting for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clean and maintain all guest areas, including guest rooms, public areas, linen rooms, and cupboards.
  • Ensure that service levels are exceptional and that all areas are cleaned to a high standard within allocated time frames.
  • Report any damages or breakages promptly to ensure repairs are carried out.
  • Return all equipment to their allotted storerooms at the end of each working day and keep the storerooms and working areas clean and tidy.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role and understanding of the importance of attention to detail in housekeeping.
  • Passion for providing exceptional customer service and taking pride in delivering clean and well-maintained guest rooms and public areas.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others, be reliable, punctual, and possess excellent time management skills.
  • Physical fitness to carry out the physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving heavy objects, standing for extended periods of time, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth running of the hotel.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations and good understanding of the proper use of cleaning equipment and chemicals.
