Role Overview
We are seeking a Geospatial Engineering Specialist to become a vital member of our Investment and Compliance Division. The ideal candidate will embody our dedication and enthusiasm to enhance the lives of our residents and communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the identification of geospatial engineering initiatives.
- Develop, design, and execute engineering projects in alignment with the RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
- Establish budgetary requirements and track expenditures to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Lead monthly review sessions to assess project timelines and financial performance, including forecasting future expenditures in line with budgetary expectations.
Candidate Profile
To excel in this role, you should possess a relevant degree in Civil Engineering and hold membership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE).
Required Skills and Experience
- Extensive experience in managing both housing and corporate assets.
- Proficiency in design software, including Autodesk, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and MicroStation.
- Background in civil engineering services within social housing or similar sectors.
- Proven track record of delivering engineering work programs in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work Framework.
- Experience in managing substantial budgets effectively.
- Familiarity with mapping and imaging software.
- Knowledge of statutory, regulatory, and best practice standards related to civil engineering.
- Understanding of contract law, construction regulations, and building codes.
- Experience in procurement and contract mobilization.
- Strong numerical and data analysis capabilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, coupled with decisive decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional project and contract management skills.
