About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Graduate Structural Engineer to join our team at the Structural Engineering Alliance Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and managing structural engineering projects from small domestic extensions to large multistorey apartment and office developments.

Our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality engineering solutions that meet the needs of our clients. We are looking for a talented individual who is passionate about structural engineering and has a strong understanding of design tools within a BIM environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Management: Use the latest design software to create and manage designs, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Client Liaison: Liaise with key clients and discuss design/technical solutions with team members and stakeholders.
  • Project Resource Management: Ensure projects are appropriately resourced, delegating work to team members, programming deliverables, and monitoring progress.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Structural Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Design Tools: Understanding of the use of design tools within a BIM environment.
  • Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry design standards, such as DMRB, Manual for Streets, and NJUG SSG.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to offer solutions to challenges and work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Communication: Confident, articulate, and proactive with excellent spoken and written English.
  • Travel: Full UK driving license and willingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other offices.
  • Eligibility: Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when requested.
