Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Learning Development Consultant to join our People team at Sharp UK. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the build and development of our internal Learning and Development service, driving effective solutions that support our operational and strategic business plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop a comprehensive Learning and Development offering to deliver a range of training courses using a blended learning approach.
- Conduct an organizational Training Needs Analysis to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training programs.
- Develop and manage the Learning and Development plan and associated budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Identify and develop evaluation mechanisms to determine the effectiveness of Learning and Development interventions and measure Return on Investment.
- Support the design and implementation of career pathways and succession opportunities across the business to drive retention.
- Review and develop an implementation plan to launch our E-learning platform.
- Undertake and support Learning and Development planned project work to ensure timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Develop management information to record, monitor, and control all Learning and Development activities.
- Continually improve the effectiveness, value for money, and delivery of Learning and Development initiatives.
- Negotiate provision of external learning and development interventions to support our business objectives.
- Provide tailored, local, and 121 support to address specific knowledge, skills, and competence gaps.
Requirements:
- CIPD Level 5 in Organizational Learning and Development qualification.
- Extensive experience in building, designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs.
- Proven experience in a similar Learning and Development role, ideally across multiple sites.
- Demonstrable experience and skills in the full training cycle.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience building effective relationships with employees, managers, and external training and apprenticeship providers.
- Proactive in identifying training needs and developing appropriate solutions.
- Ability to manage and formulate budgets based on Training Needs Analysis.
- Results-focused – desire to see the Learning and Development activity impact on revenue.
