About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Assistant Technical Officer to join our team at Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that all medical devices comply with the latest healthcare regulations and standards.

Main Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the premium reprocessing and sterilization services, ensuring that medical equipment is prepared to the utmost standard, promoting optimal patient care and safety.
  • Work closely with the team to ensure that all medical devices meet the highest standards, guaranteeing safety, efficacy, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of healthcare regulations and standards, staying up-to-date with the latest directives, legislation, and guidance.

Requirements

  • Medically cleared by Occupational Health as fit to undertake the duties and responsibilities of the role.
  • Basic keyboard skills and adequate level of education to perform in the role.
  • Training in all aspects of departmental processes required.
