Job Title: Apprentice Quality Engineer

Ultra Electronics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Apprentice Quality Engineer to join our team. As an Apprentice Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and fulfillment of our Quality Policy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify compliance to company processes and documented procedures to ensure a robust Quality Management System is in place throughout the business.
  • Identify, maintain, and recommend quality business improvement processes required to maintain company quality approvals.
  • Develop good customer relationships by supporting the Quality Manager and Account Manager's with customer communications and visits.
  • Produce quality and control plans as required by customers and agree and confirm customer quality conditions for each new order.
  • Attend and chair project meetings, conduct FMEA/risk assessments, internal auditing, and NCR corrective actions as required.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience within a Quality Management system.
  • Experience of conducting root cause analysis using tools like 8D.
  • Self-driven and able to monitor own performance effectively to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Good application of Microsoft packages and relevant software for the role.
