About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Northwood, a leading manufacturer of paper hygiene and wiping products. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating high-speed machinery, conducting quality checks, and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor machinery to ensure efficient production and high-quality products.
  • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure products meet our high standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of machinery to prevent downtime.
  • Assist with loading and unloading materials to ensure timely production.
  • Adhere to quality, health, and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keep accurate records of production output and downtime to inform production decisions.
Requirements
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work to high standards.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues.
  • Willingness to learn and follow instructions to improve skills and knowledge.
