Job Summary:

The Recruitment Fix is seeking an experienced Electrical & Test Engineer to join a leading specialist manufacturer with a global presence. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative company that consistently leads in its chosen industry sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out the electrical and mechanical assembly of standard and special products, parts, and sub-assemblies in line with engineering drawings.
  • Prepare products for testing, including powering up products and carrying out pre-test safety checks.
  • Follow Company Quality Control procedures, including ISO standards.
  • Test products in line with Company procedures.
  • Maintain production in line with the production plan and instructions from the departmental supervisor/planner to ensure that other production departments are supplied with products and parts to maintain their own plan.
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance to plant and equipment, as required.
  • Occasional site work may be required.

Requirements:

  • Panel Wiring experience is essential.
  • 18th/19th Edition certification is highly desirable.
  • Able to read Electrical Schematics.
  • Mechanical assembly skills are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently and unaided.

Working Hours:

37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with the option to work a 9-day fortnight, giving you every other Friday off.
