About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Senior Radiographer to join our patient-centred team at our Cherwell & Blakelands Hospital's. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality imaging services and prioritising patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of radiographers in delivering high-quality imaging services
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure patient safety and optimal image quality
- Collaborate with clinicians to ensure accurate and timely imaging results
- Supervise and mentor junior radiographers to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Contribute to the development of departmental policies and procedures
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Radiography
- Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HPC)
- Member of the Society of Radiographers (SoR)
- Experience in more than one imaging modality
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to effectively supervise a team and work independently as required
- Supports the Ramsay culture; contributing to and fostering a positive working team environment
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the changing needs of the business
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills
- Demonstrated Computer Skills and RIS PACs experience
