Role Summary:

As a Technical Solutions Consultant at Arrow Electronics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering pre-sales support for designated Arrow vendors. You will collaborate closely with fellow Solutions Consultants and Architects, as well as commercial teams, to facilitate partner and customer engagements in the networking and security domains.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure compliance with technical requirements set forth by aligned vendors, including necessary certifications.
  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the current security landscape, focusing on relevant vendors.
  • Identify and assist in complex solution opportunities.
  • Stay informed about Arrow's vendor offerings beyond your specific alignments.
  • Provide accurate and pertinent technical information, establishing yourself as a trusted advisor to partners and internal teams.
  • Develop and nurture key relationships with customers and partners.
  • Support Arrow's strategic objectives on a divisional level.
  • Address the technical needs of emerging or underrepresented prospects, aligning Arrow's solutions with customer business requirements.
  • Drive the creation of new opportunities and product selections within your aligned accounts, recognizing relevant activities for other technical resources.
  • Identify and promote opportunities for growth and enablement, as well as new services that may be offered.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in a similar role within solutions engineering or pre-sales engineering in a relevant industry.
  • Background in networking and security.
  • Ability to cultivate and develop strategic business relationships.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Technology.
  • Strong communication skills across all organizational levels.
