Key Responsibilities:
As the Senior Controls Engineer, you will play a vital role in overseeing all engineering operations within our organization. Your contributions are essential in managing production efficiency and implementing innovative strategies to enhance manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive engineering maintenance strategy.
- Managing daily engineering tasks related to machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and overall facility maintenance.
- Regularly communicating with the Management Team to address engineering challenges and determine suitable solutions.
- Assisting management in improving production efficiency.
- Ensuring all personnel receive adequate training in accordance with company protocols and instructing machine operators on basic troubleshooting techniques.
- Maintaining the operational integrity of all equipment, machinery, and drainage systems.
- Overseeing succession planning to cultivate and retain essential skills and positive attitudes within the engineering team.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- Multi-skilled engineering experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
- Comfort with both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) as well as improvement initiatives.
- Strong performance and time management skills.
- Experience in training and developing operational standards.
Additional Information:
This position offers a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £43,000, with a Monday to Friday schedule, ensuring no night or weekend shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute positively and implement enhancements within the engineering department.
