About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team at Henry Ford Academy. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our training programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer internal quality assurance processes to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices.
  • Conduct observations and provide feedback to assessors to ensure high-quality training delivery.
  • Organize and support monitoring and re-approval visits by external quality assurance teams.
  • Review and improve the quality of training delivery across all programs and locations.
  • Support the Integration and Excellence Manager in reviewing new course material to drive quality and standardization.

About You

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical training delivery or development within the automotive industry.
  • Good standard of education, ideally with a Certificate in Motor Studies and/or BTEC National Certificate in Engineering & Motor Vehicle Studies, and training delivery qualification.
  • Current knowledge of regulatory frameworks, standards, and other regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Hold a relevant Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1, TAQA equivalent) or EPA qualification with robust knowledge of assessment practice and techniques.
  • Sound IT and digital literacy skills with proven experience of working with various Microsoft packages.
  • Experience in organizing and processing internal quality assurance practices; ability to work in a flexible manner, adapt to different environments, and solve problems independently.
  • Experience in engaging with external quality assurance activities.
  • Hold a relevant Internal Quality Assurer Qualification (D34, V1).
  • Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in written form.
