Shift Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical/Electrical)

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Engineer to join our client in the Worcester area. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preventative maintenance on production machinery, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and working effectively in a fast-paced, 3-shift rotating pattern.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting regular maintenance checks on production equipment to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
  • Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues on production machinery.
  • Working collaboratively with the production team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Developing and maintaining a proactive approach to maintenance, identifying potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to production staff on maintenance-related matters.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a production/factory environment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing and maintaining centrifugal and lobe pumps.
  • Competency in electrical systems.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, 3-shift rotating pattern.
  • Experience working in a food factory is highly desirable.
