About the Role:

The EWM Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing SAP EWM consultancy in design and delivery on EWM projects delivered by Tata Technologies. This role will involve working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, designing and configuring warehouse management applications in SAP EWM, and ensuring that business solutions meet long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Configure warehouse management applications in SAP EWM for outbound processes, including packing, strapping, and labeling, as well as wave picking and EWM system integration with APO.
  2. Design and implement fixed bin replenishment, storage unit management, printer and form determination, RFID setup and transactions, wave templates, and work orders.
  3. Develop and implement inbound processing solutions.
  4. Work with business stakeholders to gather requirements and create traceability matrices.
  5. Provide robust solutions to ensure business objectives are met.
  6. Collaborate with programme stakeholders and partners to manage and resolve cross-programme solution issues.
  7. Advise on standard SAP best practice application solution design in warehouse management.
  8. Prepare GAP lists for development work and ensure adequate justification is given for development over standard SAP functionality.
  9. Guide the process team in analysis and decomposition of current business processes, scripting exercises, and design and configuration of the EWM system.
  10. Conduct workshops and presentations to validate business design with the end-user community.
  11. Work with team leads and project managers to analyze and decompose current deliverables, business processes, and design and configure SAP systems.
  12. Plan and deliver system unit, integration, and performance testing.
  13. Support cutover activities and deployments.
  14. Support all aspects of UAT.
  15. Support end-user training sessions.
  16. Assist with handover to production and knowledge transfer to customer and internal support teams.
  17. Work on-site at customer locations in accordance with their policies and requirements.
  18. Ensure suitable communication and updates are provided to internal and external clients in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of extended warehouse management.
  • Experience of defining and resourcing support teams.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to manage/balance senior stakeholder interests.
