About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Change Hospitality as their Sous Chef.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest standard of food preparation and service is maintained at all times.
  • Oversee the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food production.
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Collaborate with the Head Chef to plan and execute special events and functions.
  • Monitor and control kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a high-end hotel or restaurant environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the kitchen team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a calm and composed demeanor in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices and procedures.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
