Job Title: Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon to join our team at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality soft tissue knee and trauma surgery services to patients. They will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality soft tissue knee and trauma surgery services to patients
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care and support to patients
  • Participate in national registries and other local administration
  • Contribute to the development of clinical guidelines and protocols
  • Engage in research and audit activities to improve patient outcomes
Person Specification
  • Full registration with the GMC
  • Postgraduate medical qualification - FRCS (T&O) or equivalent
  • On the UK Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCT / CESR
  • ATLS or equivalent
  • At least 12 months fellowship level training in Soft tissue Knee surgery
  • Higher qualification e.g. PhD / MD / MSc
