We are looking for a Senior Physiotherapist to join our distinguished team at London Bridge Hospital, recognized for its exceptional patient care.

This permanent role focuses on delivering acute physiotherapy services to patients in critical care, oncology, and surgical departments. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Dietitians, and Psychologists. The position primarily involves weekday shifts, with occasional weekend responsibilities and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Exhibit outstanding clinical expertise in physiotherapy, underpinned by advanced theoretical knowledge, particularly in managing patients with critical care, oncology, and complex surgical conditions.
  • Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy evaluations, apply advanced clinical reasoning, establish clinical diagnoses, set rehabilitation objectives, and develop personalized treatment plans grounded in evidence-based practices.
  • Engage in ward rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute to patient care strategies.
  • Maintain precise and current patient documentation in accordance with departmental and professional standards.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Physiotherapy (BSc/MSc)
  • Registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
  • Experience in critical care and oncology settings
  • Postgraduate training in a specialized area of physiotherapy
