About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Nurse to join our team at Maidenhead Portman Dental & Implant Clinic. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be responsible for leading and managing our dental nursing staff, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the dental nursing team, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and implement infection control protocols, ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Oversee the decontamination room and equipment, ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized.
  • Conduct regular audits and quality checks, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team, providing input on patient care and treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Previous experience in a similar lead nurse role is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire the dental nursing team.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and committed to ongoing professional development.
