About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Dental Nurse to join our clinical team at PortmanDentex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our dental nursing team and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the dental nursing team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Develop and implement infection control protocols and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Oversee the decontamination room and ensure all equipment is properly maintained and sterilized
  • Conduct regular equipment checks and testing to ensure optimal performance
  • Provide one-to-one training and support to dental nurses to enhance their skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Valid certification or diploma in Dental Nursing
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
  • Previous experience in a similar lead nurse role is highly desirable
  • A positive attitude, empathy, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and building strong relationships with patients and colleagues
