Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner to join our Safeguarding team in South Essex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with children, their carers, and families to understand their circumstances, wishes, and feelings. You will also be the first point of contact for the children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs and develop effective intervention plans.
- Collaborate with other professionals to ensure the best interests of the child are met.
- Provide support and guidance to carers and families to promote positive outcomes for children.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
Requirements:
- Recognised social work qualification with a minimum of 5 years post-qualifying experience in Child Protection teams.
- Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
