Job Summary

Child Action Northwest is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join our team as a Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner. This exciting opportunity is part of the Children and Young People's IAPT initiative, and we are actively seeking to promote diversity in our workforce.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with experience in working with children and young people's mental health, who can evidence a degree-level qualification and registration with the HCPC or BACP. As a Trainee Systemic Family Practitioner, you will work closely with our Emotional Health and Wellbeing Team to provide whole-family interventions for children and young people experiencing low mood, self-harm, and behavioral issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide whole-family interventions for children and young people experiencing low mood, self-harm, and behavioral issues
  • Work closely with the Emotional Health and Wellbeing Team to deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions
  • Attend study sessions two days per week and work three days per week in a service-based role
  • Participate in close clinical supervision during the training period
