Cargo Inspector

The role of a Cargo Inspector with Intertek involves performing volume and temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, and reporting to ensure the accuracy and quality of materials during transportation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting visual observations, volume measurements, temperature measurements, and sampling of commodity materials
- Attending commodity material movements, including line and tank transfer or displacement, lightering, and loading and unloading
- Communicating and coordinating with terminal, transport, and company personnel to promote smooth operations
- Monitoring the availability of supplies needed for the above processes
- Verifying and communicating results, making entries into the appropriate media
