About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Officer to join our Control Panel businesses at Actemium. As a key member of our team, you will provide support to the Panel Sector Director, the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ, and Business Unit General Managers to ensure the effective application of Company SHEQ requirements across assigned Business Units.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and facilitate the continuous improvement of the Actemium UK Limited Management System within the Panel Sector.
  • Support the Panel Sector with carbon footprint reduction plans and provide environmental and sustainability guidance as needed.
  • Advise and support Business Unit General Managers and operational staff on SHEQ legislation, regulations, and practices to ensure operational relevance.
  • Ensure the Company meets all reporting obligations related to Safety, Environmental, and Quality.
  • Support the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ in maintaining Company ISO accreditations, certifications, and memberships.
  • Actively participate in the SHEQ community within Actemium UK by collaborating with the Actemium UK Head of SHEQ and SHEQ Managers in other Sectors.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate, Technical membership to IOSH, or equivalent.
  • A current and ongoing commitment to maintaining CPD.
  • Relevant Environmental Qualification and membership in a recognized environmental body (IEMA desirable).
  • Relevant Quality Qualification and membership in a recognized quality body (CQI desirable).
  • Electrical related qualifications desirable.
  • A valid UK driver's license for travel amongst Business units in the South West of England and South Wales.
