Senior Sous Chef Opportunity at Ham Yard Hotel

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Sous Chef to join our team at Ham Yard Hotel, a luxury boutique hotel in the heart of London. As a Senior Sous Chef, you will play a key role in leading our pastry team and contributing to the hotel's culinary excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Head Pastry Chef to develop and implement pastry menus and recipes
  • Lead and motivate the pastry team to deliver exceptional service and high-quality pastries
  • Ensure efficient kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to source high-quality ingredients
  • Contribute to the development of new pastry products and menus
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Sous Chef or equivalent role in a luxury hotel or restaurant
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Excellent knowledge of pastry production, including baking, decorating, and presentation
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
