Job Summary:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Learning Disabilities Healthcare Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to our clients. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months of UK-based experience in learning disabilities care and will be passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide person-centered care and support to clients with learning disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being.
- Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
- Support clients to engage in activities and hobbies that promote their physical and mental health.
- Work collaboratively with the care team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Provide physical interventions and restraint training as required.
- Minimum 12 months of UK-based experience in learning disabilities care.
- Experience and confidence in performing physical interventions in the last two years.
- Learning disabilities, autism, and mental health experience.
- Restraint training and physical intervention skills.
- Market-leading rates of pay that match some of the most competitive nursing agency pay rates in the UK.
- £200 refer a friend bonus.
- Travel and mileage expenses in some instances.
- Initial shadow shifts to help you familiarise yourself with the client and environment.
- 24/7 operations support from our dedicated care coordinators and clinical support from our expert Clinical Team.
