Key Responsibilities- Deliver person-centred care and support to patients and their carers, promoting their well-being and recovery.
- Use an enabling approach to empower service users in their own recovery, working collaboratively with them to achieve their goals.
- Contribute to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of therapeutic programmes of care for patients.
- Report any changes in condition or general level of needs of service users, ensuring accurate and timely communication with the multidisciplinary team.
- Develop and maintain good relationships, communication, and teamwork with all disciplines, ensuring a high standard of care and support.
- Comply with local and Trust policies and procedures, including attending mandatory training and refreshers.
- Ensure all administrative duties are completed on a timely basis, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Good spoken and written English, with the ability to communicate effectively with a range of different people.
- Good general education, with the ability to undertake NVQ level 3 if not already attained.
- Relevant experience and knowledge of working with people with mental health needs, with a strong understanding of the Recovery College approach.
- Ability to work independently, using own initiative, and as part of a multidisciplinary team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Good level of IT skills, with the ability to use computer software and systems effectively.
